From the LCHA President…

Fall is upon us as school is back in session and football season starts in earnest the first of September.  It will not be long until we will see a return to cool evenings (and maybe a little drier weather.)  Be sure to get out and enjoy the outdoors during this time of year.  If you have been like me, finding a dry time to do yard work has been difficult. So I am hoping the fall will be bring time to catch up in the yard.

The Board has received several comments from residents about homes in the neighborhood needing upkeep. Unfortunately, there have been several homes that have been taken over by lenders. The Board pursues all avenues to ensure the property is maintained (sometimes we are unsuccessful.) It is frustrating when there are no responses, but the Board does pursue minor upkeep, when necessary.

Don’t forget to enjoy our final Pool Party for the season on Labor Day, September 1st from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. Come enjoy the food, fun and fellowship. Thanks again to the Social Committee for all their hard work.

Enjoy your Labor Day!

Respectfully,

Erroll Eckford

President, LCHA
