Newsletter November
2009
From
the President:
Hello
Neighbors! I hope that everyone is doing
well and enjoying this beautiful fall that we are having.
This newsletter
includes our proposed 2010 Budget for the Association as well as projected
budgets through 2013.
In the proposed
budget for 2010, the Association’s annual dues remain at $345. This will be our
second consecutive year without an increase. The Directors are very cognizant
that these are difficult economic times and want to help out our neighbors
anyway that we can.
Each year, in
preparation of the next year’s budget, we project, for at least five years, the
need to meet operating expenses, maintain adequate reserves and fund major
repairs. These long-term projections have indicated a need to reach an annual
assessment of $365 by the year 2011. Because of the economy, however, we have
forgone increases in 2009 and 2010. The Association will likely need an
increase of $20 in 2011, but should be able to avoid further increases in the
foreseeable future thereafter.
We encourage each
resident to review the information on the budgets and join us for our November
board meeting to discuss any comments or concerns that you may have.
As always, if you should
ever have any comments or concerns, please do not hesitate to call me. My home phone number is (770) 420-3484. Take care, and I will see you around the
neighborhood!
Jim Martin
