Lee’s Crossing
Monthly
Newsletter March 2010
Hello Neighbors!
I hope this letter
finds everyone well and warm! It is hard
to believe that spring is only three week away.
We have had some
complaints from several residents about neighborhood children playing football
in their yards without permission. In
one instance, a parent was reported to have been playing as well. Please remember to be respectful of your
neighbors and their property.
I would like to take
this opportunity to thank Noel Follrath for his many years of tireless service
to Homes Association. Noel has served in
just about every capacity on the board during his residency here. It is people like Noel that have made this
neighborhood great. Please take the time
to thank him for his efforts the next chance you have.
As always, if you
should ever have any comments or concerns, please do not hesitate to call
me. My home phone number is (770)
420-3484. Take care, and I will see you
around the neighborhood!

Lee’s Crossing Cyclones Swim Team 2010
On a day like this I can almost believe Spring and Summer Swim Team Season is on it’s way. Of course, it is probably cold, rainy or even snowing (again) as you read this!
Just wanted to get the word out early, The Cyclones will be back in action in May and June. I will be attending the County meeting early next month, at which point I will know our schedule, including which evening each week we will be swimming. I will include that information in the next newsletter.
In the meantime, mark your calendars; registration will be held at the clubhouse Monday, April 12th between 5 and 7pm. New swimsuits will also be available for purchase at this time.
Coaches Caitlin, Chelsea and Cody are all planning to return, and we hope to see all of last year’s team back again. In addition, we are always looking to add new swimmers. Our swimmers range from 5 to 18 years of age (as of June 1st). If you have not been with us before, it is a great way to begin your summer!
If you are interested in any other specific information at this time please contact me, Susan Herr, at sdherr@comcast.net.

Pet Needs Home
Hello! My name is Kudzu. I’m a four-year-old beagle/basset mix. My human is about to retire to a condominium in Salt Lake City that doesn’t accept children or pets, so I’ll be interviewing applicants for a new human. I’m neutered, I am up-to-date with all of my vaccinations, and I’m current on my flea, tick, and heartworm medications. I’m a Capricorn who enjoys long walks and quiet evenings at home. I have a small inheritance which includes an over-sized travel crate. If you would like to schedule an interview please ask for Mike at 770-423-1635. (I don’t answer the phone; it’s the opposable digits thing you know.)
Free Plants
I need to reduce the number of canna plants that I have in
my yard. They grow to about 4 feet high, have large glossy green leaves
and red blooms at the top. The cultivar is 'The President'. I have
many to give away. If interested, call me at
770-427-1462, e-mail me at wadegarnto@bellsouth.net,
or come by our home at
