From the President:
Dear Neighbors,
I am proud to announce the results of our recent LCHA Board of Directors election. We had a record 269 ballots cast for the election. The results:
Directors to serve until March, 2010:
Erroll
Eckford
Jim Martin Top three vote getters with about 80% of the total ballots.
Treasurer to serve until March, 2009:
Noel Follrath – 92% of the total ballots
Congratulations to the newly elected Board members and thank
you to all the residents who participated in the process. I would like to welcome our newest Board
Member,
But as we welcome one, we must say goodbye to another, Rob Ottley. Rob has served as Treasurer on the Board since 2003. During his tenure the Board made swim and tennis memberships available for all residents and expanded the Clubhouse. Rob also was Co-Founder and Race Director for the Run for Ron (not in a board member/treasurer capacity.) On behalf of the Board and all residents, I say – “Thank you, Rob!”
In the special vote on speed tables, 294 ballots were
received with 180.5 (61%) voting “for” and 113.5 (39%) voting “against.” The half vote results from one home that had
a split vote on the issue. Thank you to
all the residents that participated in the vote. The results will be turned over to the City
of
The Board is looking forward to the new year and the many opportunities to enhance our community.
As always, if you have questions or comments, please give me a call.

Attention Fellow Homeowners
Do you have unresolved service issues with Comcast?
Unfortunately I have become more educated about Comcast than I ever wanted to be.
I have developed some resources to work around 1-800-Comcast.
I only use this when the normal channels fail. Call or e-mail me & perhaps I can help.

I Recommend……
Dave Krier would like to recommend O’Campo Painting and Remodeling. “Aafter discovering a major flaw in our house, Felipe O’Campo and his crew did a phenomenal job of not only repairing the damage, but he goes that extra mile with keeping you informed at every stage. Repairs included everything from roof/soffit/fascia repair, general handyman work, repairing of a cracked joist, replacement and leveling of floors, etc. The cost was thousands less than other estimates, the job was completed in record time, and he is very easy and a sincere pleasure to work with. You can reach Felipe at 678-523-3765 for any remodeling needs.”
Lynn Gregory would like to recommend a new restaurant
located at
“Bubbalini’s has great food at affordable prices. When I saw the name I thought it was a Chucky Cheese, but was pleasantly surprised when we entered the first time. It is family owned and operated. My favorite is the pizza. The interior is very elegant but not intimidating. “
