From the President…
Dear Neighbors,
I am proud to announce the results of our recent LCHA Board of Directors election. We had a record 217 ballots cast for the election. The results:
Directors to serve until March, 2009:
Kevin Brown
Walt Walker Top three vote getters with about 70% of the total ballots.
Steve Young
Treasurer to serve until March, 2008:
Rob Ottley – 125 votes
Bob Funk – 68 votes
Congratulations to the newly elected Board members and thank you to all the residents who participated in the process. A special thank you to Bob Funk for his willingness to serve by stepping up to run for the Board. The Board looks forward to the new year and the many opportunities to enhance our community.
If you will notice the Clubhouse has new strips for parking spaces. For some of us it will take a little time to become accustomed to parking straight. Thanks to Kevin Brown and Joe Garrett for volunteering their time to lay down those straight lines for parking. Come swim season we should be able to get a few more vehicles in the lot!
I have received several calls from concerned residents about fast moving vehicles in the neighborhood. It should go without saying that exceeding the speed limit may result in an accident. So please observe the Speed Limit of 25 mph and slow down!
You cannot help but notice that work is continuing on the
Manning property around the neighborhood.
Personally, I am sorry to see the trees go, but I have been assured the
area will be nicely landscaped and trees replaced. We should see houses going up in the near
future across
As always, if you have questions or comments, please give me a call.
Best Regards,

Neighborhood
Business Spotlight
This section is dedicated to helping each of us in Lee’s Crossing get to know our neighbors a little better. Many of you are independent business people or work for companies that others of us would be interested in supporting – we just need to know about what you do and how to get in touch with you.
If you would like to advertise your business, please send us a BRIEF paragraph giving pertinent information about your company along with contact information. Submissions will printed first come - first serve each month, based on space. Competitors will not be published in the same month. Send your information to leescrossing@comcast.net.
I Recommend……
This is your opportunity to recommend a business to your neighbors. If you know of someone that does a good job, please send us a SHORT testimonial that we can share.
Sandy Newton would like to
recommend to any neighbors who are looking to replace countertops in their
homes the services of our neighbor, Bill Dickman, and Crowe Custom Countertops, a local company for which Bill is a
sales' representative. “Bill spent time
with me answering my many questions and explaining the demolition and
installation process. He kept in touch making sure the schedule was up to date
and to my satisfaction. The technicians who arrived at my house promptly at the
appointed time were courteous and skilled at their jobs. They completed the job
within the allotted time and did a nice job of cleaning up after the work.
I am delighted with the new look
of my kitchen and very satisfied with Bill's professionalism and recommend that
you give Bill a call at 770-485-7642 (home) or 404-992-2610 (cell).”
Bill Dickman recommends ASAP Plumbing! "Allen Sawyer,Owner did a great job on a recent plumbing project! He arrived a few minutes before the appointment time, completed the contracted installation promptly, and even fixed an additional problem that he found at no additional cost for labor & materials! He is a true Professional; his price was very competitive! His Business Cell # is 423-309-0033, Office # is 404-227-4441, Email sawplum@msn.com "
For dry wall repair, including ceilings, Tom Holzman recommends Burt at Patchmaster Dry Wall Repair (770-926-0709). Of the contractors whom we contacted about repairing our ceiling, he was the quickest in providing a quote and an appointment to do the work. His price was less than what most people charge, and the work was excellent.
