Around the Neighborhood

TROOP 144 will be SCOUTING FOR FOOD in Lee’s Crossing

The scouts will leave donation bags at your door on February 12th or 13th.  So when Valentine’s Day rolls around this year, please consider showing your love to those in need in our community by donating food.  We will be picking up any generous donations you may have on Saturday, February 19th.  Please just leave your bag on the front porch by 9 AM.    All food items will be donated to Storehouse Ministries, a local food bank.  They are very low on pasta, mac ‘n cheese, flour, and baking/muffin mixes.  Food collection will continue throughout February, so if you miss the Feb. 19th pick-up you can still drop off your donation at 1080 Chestnut Hill Circle and place it in the collection box that will be on the front porch.  If you have any questions, feel free to call Diane Edwards at 770-575-0445.

The Leesure Ladies of Lee's Crossing want you!

We are a social group of active empty-nesters / stay-at-home, mostly retired women who enjoy getting together, meeting new people, and taking field trips to local sights and restaurants.  If you are interested in learning more about the club, plan to attend our annual lunch and business meeting at the clubhouse.  For more details or questions, please contact our president, Judy Greene, at 770-792-8734 or jgreene199@comcast.net

Lee’s Crossing Clubhouse Update

We are pleased to have Tricia Wilson, a 12 year resident of Lee’s Crossing, as our new Clubhouse Manager.  She will be overseeing clubhouse rentals and general upkeep. The demand for use of our Clubhouse has shown it to be very popular. So get your event on the calendar early.  In an effort to keep our Clubhouse clean and in the best condition, the rental deposit will be increasing to $250, effective February 1st.  If you return the clubhouse after rental in its best condition, the entire deposit will be returned.

I Recommend……

Gordon & Beth Pfeiffer would like to recommend Brian Priest of FRAMM Enterprises for installing tile in your bathroom or kitchen.  He is very professional and creative, and also reliable and willing to answer all your questions.  He also does any plumbing work that may be needed with the job.  He has done work for several people in Lee's Crossing.  Call Brian at 770-826-9604.

The Ocampo family recently had their carpets cleaned by CitruSolution and was amazed by how good the carpets looked afterwards. The process was affordable, fast-dryng, and left a pleasant citrus smell afterwards. They also enjoyed the free bottle of CitruSpotter with the service. They recommend CitruSolution to anyone in need of carpet cleaning.  Call Rob Desoto at 770-861-4595.
