From the President…
For many of us Summer as we know it ends next week as our kids return to school. It goes so quickly! I hope everyone had a great summer and will have stories to share at our end of summer pool party over the Labor Day Weekend.
Since kids will be back in school lets all be conscious of
Limit in the neighborhood – it still remains 25
Over the last couple of months I have received several complaints about unleashed dogs and dog messes found in yards and on the sidewalks. The City of Marietta has a leash law that requires all dogs to be under control of a leash or fenced in at all times. Please help keep our neighbors safe, especially, with school starting, we do not want kids to be put in unsafe situations.
As we close in on the end of summer, we will have several social opportunities for the neighborhood. I ask that you make plans to attend and greet your neighbors, welcome newcomers and share stories.
As always, if you have questions or comments, please give me a call.

“THE SPIRIT OF DANCE”
I am one of your neighbors and I
run a full scale dance program out of two local churches. First United
The season begins September 4th and runs through May. Classes are held weekly, 1 hour in length, held in the church dance studios. There is a wide selection of class times offered for the younger children (ages 3-8) at each church, but they do fill up. We have a wonderful recital at the end of the year to showcase all we have learned. (Adults – Don’t panic! We will not make you dance on stage unless you want to.)
Call me with any questions you may have about the program. Visit my website at www.thespiritofdance.com for detailed information, schedules and registration information about each of the churches.
I still have openings in my summer dance camp August 6-11 at McEachern Methodist for ages 3-7. “Dancing Around the World” We visit a different country each day, M-F, 9-1, and we have a blast! Call me for info.
Are you interested in joining a Thursday Ladies C-1 Tennis team in the neighborhood? Our season begins September 6th, and we take lessons on Tuesday mornings. Please call Diane Edwards at 770/575-0445 if you'd like more information
